Stephansdom Pulpit
The magnificent, riotously carved pulpit of Vienna's St. Stephan's cathedral, with the nave extending into the distance, beyond. I marvel every time I ponder how this pulpit, with all its amazing, detailed, easy-to-imagine-snapping-off carving has survived so well from its 15th century creation, and how sort of radical it seems, when compared with other carvings of the same time period.
