Résille
As I was working on this, it reminded me of some kind of elaborate vintage necklace, the huge, diamond-encrusted showpieces you see some grand duchess wearing in a costume drama. I couldn't find the word I thought I knew, for that kind of necklace, but while trying, I came across résille, which refers to a meshwork, usually in a diamond-shape pattern. An even better fit for title, as each grey diamond shape is a fine mesh of metal, all designed to further reflect sunlight deeper into the atrium. BP POTD 11/7/16
