About 2 weeks ago the Ohio River flooded, to the point that in Huntington, WV, where my mother now resides, the flood walls had to be raised.
While discussing the flooding river the topic of the 1937 flood came up. The local newspaper has a photo gallery from that flood,
and those old black-and-whites with hand lettering inspired my entry today. This view is from the windows in my mom's condo.
